Easy to Lose Weight With the Right Knowledge

It can be easy to lose weight effectively but you will have to be prepared to make changes and set goals to keep yourself motivated. It's not the same thing as popping weight loss pills, but instead requires a full commitment. The good news is it's not really hard at all once you know how to eat less calories and how they can be burned off easier. Read on to see how easy it is to lose weight.

Stay Motivated by Setting Goals You need to stay motivated and the best way your going to do that is if you set goals for yourself. Don't be harsh, start out with simple tasks such as loosing 5 pounds, or walking a couple days a week, or even drinking 1 less soda a day. You will be more likely to succeed by doing this.

Think about why you really want to lose weight, write these reasons down along with the goals you have chosen. Choose a day of the week and write that down as well, because that's the day you are going to check your weight. Never check it on any other day no mater how much you want to! Calories and Knowing your Metabolism makes it Easy to Lose Weight

Everyone requires a basic amount of calories to keep their body functioning properly, but when they consume more than that required amount, it gets stored in a form of fat. You will gain 1 pound for every 3,500 extra calories you take in. The required calories you need are based on your metabolism as well as how active you are.

Metabolism is the rate at which our bodies burn energy, this energy is provided by calories from the food we eat. Basal metabolic rate (BMR) is the rate at which your body burns calories while at rest, and is an important to help you lose weight easy.

You can get an idea of your own BMR by multiplying your weight by 10. If you weigh 120 pounds your BMR would be 1200. So this means your metabolism can use up 1200 calories. Anything over 1200 is going to go into fat storage. Which causes us to gain weight.

Calculate your own Estimated BMR (your weight) x 10 = (your estimated BMR)

To find out if my BMR of 1200 is exact or not, I could simply try eating 1200 calories a day for 2 weeks. If my weight stays the same then that would be my real BMR. Otherwise if I gained weight I would simply subtract about 50 so instead of eating 1200 I'd try eating 1150 calories a day for the next two weeks. Just keep making adjustments as needed. You can find tons of free BMR calculators online but you will never know how accurate they are. So the best way is through trial and error.

Ready To Speed Up Your Metabolism ?

The quicker your metabolism is the more calories you can burn, simple as that. Speed it up and it will be easy to lose weight! But how can we speed it up? Well we can do a lot of things that are as simple as eating food to riding a bicycle. But one of the easiest things you can do is change the way you eat. It's easy really instead of eating just 1 or 2 meals a day you need to eat 5-6 smaller meals (portions) a day. Doing this one little thing alone will make a HUGE difference. Other things you can do:

DON'T SKIP MEALS

  • Eat more proteins, chicken or turkey
  • Drink water 8-10 glasses a day
  • Get 7-8 hours of sleep per night
  • Eat big breakfast high in fiber
  • Eat whole grains like whole wheat bread and rolled oats
  • Fruits such as apples and berries
  • Black beans, kidney and pinto beans
  • Eat spicy foods like chili
  • Peanuts, walnuts, or almonds
  • Avoid alcohol & Soft Drinks
  • Drink green tea or hot water with lemon
